So you've decided to embrace your little one's independence.

Not too long ago, I said to myself in reference to the battles I was fighting with my 2 1/2 year old each day: "Self, if you're really going to let her have choices, you have to be okay with what she chooses. Let go."

And so I gave her some control. Over her wardrobe. Folks, here's what you have to look forward to if you have a strong-willed fashionista-in-the-making - just a few of her outfits she's put together. Girl's got great personal style.

Yes, some of these outfits seem a little crazy, but you know what? It makes her so happy to choose what she's going to wear and I love how uninhibited she is with "fashion" - she just wants to wear what makes her happy and doesn't care what people think. I really hope that kind of thinking stays with her as she grows older.
